Mrs. Barbour's Classroom Home

Here is a little about myself. I graduated in May 2004 from Azusa Pacific University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and I got my Master's Degree in Education in 2006. This will be my 15th year teaching. I have taught Fifth grade, Third grade, and Second grade. I am married with two daughters. I love owls. I also love to think outside the box. I feel that teaching through flexible seating is a MUST in today's world. Our room contains different types of chairs including wobble stools, yoga balls, rolling chairs, scoop rockers, and traditional chairs. I ask that all students treat my equipment as if it were their own! Lastly, I always strive to achieve a healthy home-school relationship since it's vital to your child's success.
