classroom home

my class photo While studying and living abroad in England (Keele University), Spain (Universidad de Alicante) and Mexico (Universidad de Queretaro), I was able to travel and earn degrees in Spanish, European History, Comparative Education and Politics. Traveling is critical to experience the world outside of one's own. Thus, I strive to incorporate my travels and passion for teaching and learning with a curriculum for foreign language in a suitable classroom for learning.

As a lifelong learner, earning a double M.Ed. in Literacy and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) at the University of Cincinnati, fostered a stronger desire to assist others with language acquisition and proficiency. For the past two summers, I taught English as a Second Language in England at the University of Manchester. What a joy it is to help others with their language studies. It is thrilling to utilize new, exciting instructional assessment and evaluations with students. Each year brings new experiences, people to meet and places to visit, but as a Cincinnati native (St. Ursula Academy and Ursula Villa alumni) it is always great to come home and see familiar faces.
