Complete Sentence or Fragment Game

      Your students will be sure to be able to identify complete sentences or sentence fragments after playing this fun, partner game. Students will roll the die, choose a group of words, read them, and identify them as a sentence fragment or complete sentence. Their partner will check their work with the answer key. Continue playing until all bubbles are colored in.

All About Sentences

      Use this flipchart lesson to introduce correct sentence formation to your students. Your students will learn that a sentence expresses a complete thought and includes a subject and a predicate. Students will vote as to which part of the sentence is missing, diagram simple sentences, and identify a groups of words as either a sentence or a fragment.
