I am so excited to be a part of the HJ McDonald Middle School. Being a native of Eastern, N.C., I attend Onslow County Schools, graduating from White Oak High School in 1998. Having a great passion for education, I worked for the Onslow and Craven County Schools over 10 years as a substitute teacher for various schools in the counties. During that period, I was enrolled in college at Campbell University & graduated receiving an Associates of Arts and Bachelors of Science.

I have experience working with individuals with behavioral, social, emotional and physical disabilities. Currently, I am a licenses Assistant Family Living Provider for the State of North Carolina and a one on one mentor for Craven and Onslow Counties for a local agency.

Lastly, I am a father of two wonderful boys and Minister of Music for my church. I have been a music director for over 20 years. I take pride in serving others and ensuring other successes in life. I am truly blessed to be a part of a wonderful school and district.
