Mrs. Wheeler's Classroom Home

I am so excited to be your teacher this year! My name is Carol Wheeler. My family and I live in Louisville, Ohio and my husband and I will celebrate our eleventh wedding anniversary this year. We have two beautiful daughters, Graceyn and Karley. We also have a miniature Australian Shepherd named Roxie. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Union in 2004 and substitute taught for a year after that. In 2005, I began teaching at Sandy Valley Local Schools in both fourth and fifth grades. I taught there for 8 years until my youngest daughter was born. For the next year, I enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. In 2015, I began working part-time at Portage Collaborative Montessori School. For the next two years, I taught fourth, fifth and sixth graders. When my oldest daughter was ready to begin kindergarten, I decided that I was ready to return to teaching full-time. I was blessed with the opportunity to teach fourth grade (my personal favorite!) at St. Michael School. My oldest daughter is now entering 2nd grade at St. Michael and my youngest daughter is entering Pre-K in Louisville. This will be my third year at St. Michael and I have enjoyed every minute! I also have a Master of Arts in School Counseling and a Reading Endorsement from Walsh University. I feel so blessed to be at St. Michael School with you!
