Mrs. Wharton's 2nd Grade Classroom Rules
Behavior Management
Students will be given three “gold tickets” each day. They can keep their tickets or lose tickets based on choices made throughout the day. The total number of tickets will be used to celebrate Fun Friday centers every week. Fun Friday choices will be made starting with the student that has earned the most tickets and then on down the list using ticket totals.

The focus of this system is positive behavior management. How many gold tickets should a student be earning daily/weekly? The number is not important. We will let you know if there are specific behaviors that require your attention. Walking tickets may be used at recess as a consequence for poor choices. These notes will go home for you to sign and return. Our class will be earning a “whole class” reward several times throughout the year. Always look for the positive!
