This year we will be using a math program called Bridges Mathematics. Each week in the homework packet you will find a math problem for each day of the week that needs to be done at home. I also encourage you to help your child learn their math facts for addition and subtraction to 20.

There are some great websites available for your child to practice their math skills. My favorite is IXL.com. For a small fee your child can work on all the skills they need to know for first grade. Also, the second link has some fun math games that the children really like to do.
